Following on the previous chapter, the classmates in Wales are going back to Mahora, as per Eva’s instructions. Nekane asks Ayaka and the rest of the class to look after Negi and not let him go astray… Ayaka, naturally, promises to “raise him into a fine gentleman”.
Just before they part, Ayaka asks Nekane if Negi’s father was interested in astronomy, particularly in Mars.

Negi and Eva stand (naked, as in most phantasmagoria encounters) in front of demon!Negi:
“T-This… This is me?”
“Yes, that’s it. This is your true nature. The source of your power. You’ve become strong. But this is just a primal demon.”
“If this is my true form… then how can someone like me be together with everyone…?”
“What is it? I thought you’ve already grasped the ultimate meaning of Magia Erebea, boy… heheh….

Negi wakes up and finds Ako sleeping on the side of his bed, still with the age pill. He goes outside and runs into Akira, who has a thing or four to say to him…

“Ako looks fine, but she… she’s still in love with Nagi-san. Do you know what I’m saying? U-Um, about that. I have a favour to ask. Please kis- Pactio with Ako.”
“Eh.”

“‘Nagi’ and Ako never had a proper farewell… at the end, I want you to give this a nice and proper ending.”
“Y-Yes, I understand. You’re right, this should be handled properly…”
“Did… did you know that Makie likes you?”

“Actually, there’s one other thing… about Yuuna…”

tl;dr – Akira tells Negi to just Pactio everyone. Untimely enough, Chisame finds them and starts eavesdropping.

“Am I really… qualified for that?
I was about to hurt Ako-san and the others! I wanted to protect them, but I myself exposed them to danger!

You idiot… even if that’s the case, you still stopped, didn’t you? You’re okay. Everyone knows that. If you don’t accept yourself, then you’re being rude to all those who have these feelings for you, y’know?
…You’re being rude to me too, you know.”
“Eh.”
“Ah.”
